WHO WE ARE
Heidelberg Instruments has been an international technology leader in direct-write laser lithography solutions for high-precision micro- and nanofabrication for over 35 years. We look back on a long and traditional company history, decisively characterized by pioneering work and a love of innovation. Our product portfolio is composed of innovative exposure systems for photomask production and direct writing on substrates in various application areas such as MEMS/NEMS, semiconductors, advanced packaging, sensors, quantum computing, flat panel displays, photonics, 2D materials, IoT and many other related applications. Over three decades ago we set the standards in the development of the first commercial laser lithography systems for microfabrication in research and manufacturing, which plays an important role in both today’s and future technologies that require outstanding reliability and high-performance patterning.
Through our affiliation with the Lab14 Group, which is a subsidiary of RSBG SE, wholly owned by the RAG Foundation, we offer a broad range of state-of-the-art products. This paired with our long-lasting experience and technical know-how makes us a preferred partner for customers in both industrial and academic facilities all over the world.
With over 355 employees worldwide across 8 satellite offices in 7 countries, we strive to provide the most reliable and cost-effective solution for every application. At our headquarters in Heidelberg, Germany as well as our offices in Würzburg and Zurich, Switzerland, we continuously develop, test and optimize our systems and technologies.
