Daniel Braun is a physicist by training with a PhD in Experimental Physics from the University of Münster, where he investigated submolecular features of organic molecules on metal substrates by force field spectroscopy in the group of Harald Fuchs. After obtaining his PhD in 2010 he started as an application engineer for VPG systems at Heidelberg Instruments and switched in 2015 to the service department, where he was responsible for the online service and technical after sales support. Since the beginning of 2018 he is one of the two sales managers in Europe and is in charge of the academic customers.
